CHRISTALE SPAIN

Founder and President

Christale Spain is the founder and President of 46 Hope Road.  She has an extensive background in executive-level political management and campaigns,  Christale served as the SC State Director of Senator Cory Booker's presidential campaign and in 2016 she was the Primary State Director for Senator Bernie Sander's presidential campaign.  Most recently she managed the SC Democratic Party's 2020 Coordinated Campaign during one of the most exciting U.S. Senate races in the state's history.  Christale has served as the Executive Director of the South Carolina Democratic Party under then-Chairman Jaime Harrison, she also worked as a district staffer for House Majority Whip James Clyburn. She is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc the Rho Kappa Zeta Chapter (Columbia, SC).  Christale knows South Carolina and what it's going to take to win here in 2022 and she is excited about the electoral prospects of Democrats.

BRYANTA “BRE” BOOKER-MAXWELL

Vice President of Outreach and 
Community Engagement

Bryanta “Bre” Booker-Maxwell is widely known for her practical, commonsense approach to political strategy, issue advocacy, and civic engagement. Bre is a southern girl with a competitive spirit and an unwavering commitment to creating positive change in the political process. Bre has organized, managed, and consulted on many races in South Carolina, with a proven track record and experience in political strategy and campaign management.

O. ELENA KERSHAW

Vice President of Training and Operations

O. Elena Kershaw is an activist who started her political career with the inspiration of Black Girl Magic! She recognized that the challenges facing her community could be positively impacted by using the voting power of her tribe. As a result, O.Elena  has organized, trained, and mentored South Carolinians to help increase the African-American voter turnout.

ALYCIA ALBERGOTTIE

Vice President of Development

Alycia Albergottie is the Vice President of Development of 46 Hope Road. She is passionate about being a change agent in the community and has worked on several political campaigns from national, statewide, regional and city-wide races over the past 10 years. Alycia's experiences range from working in academia as a research professional, working with Head Start and Community Action Partnerships to coordinating and consulting for national and local campaign efforts. Most recently, she was the Deputy Data Manager at the South Carolina Democratic Party. From 2019 to 2020, she was the South Carolina State Director for Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s Presidential Primary campaign, and in 2016 the State Director for the Hillary Clinton Presidential Campaign in South Carolina. She started as a Regional Field Director for President Obama's reelection team in 2012. Additionally, she was the former Richland County Democratic Party (RCDP) Chair and served as a 2016 SC Delegate for Sec. Hillary Clinton at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Philadelphia, PA. In 2020 and 2021, she worked with Star Jones, Founder of the Brown Girls Fundraising Collective, as a member of the SQuad + H who were able to collect donations from Brown and Black women across the country. Specifically, they were able to raise more than $480,000 in individual donations for the 2020 Biden/Harris Presidential campaign, more than $1.2 million dollars raised during Biden/Harris Presidential fundraising events, more than $183,000 in individual donations for the 2020 Georgia Senate Runoff races of Rev. Warnock and Jon Ossoff. 


Alycia is from Columbia, South Carolina, and is a proud alum of Allen University. She has attended the University of Dayton as well as the University of South Carolina for graduate school. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

JOYCE ROSE-HARRIS

Vice President of Digital Engagement

Joyce M. Rose-Harris has over 10 years of experience in digital strategy for political campaigns and nonprofit organizations. She currently is a digital trainer with the National Democratic Training Committee. Most recently she was the Digital Organizing Director for the 2020 South Carolina Coordinated Campaign; managed digital mobilization strategy and organizing as Digital Director in South Carolina for the Elizabeth Warren Presidential Campaign. Joyce has served in various state and county party roles. She is a graduate of the 2018 Emerge South Carolina political training program. Joyce believes that with the right strategy Democrats in South Carolina can win in 2022 and beyond.
